STEP 01: REGISTER TO THE CARDIF ENGAGEMENT PLATFORM
If you already have an account, follow the process below.
If you do not have an account, follow the process below.
1. Send an email to CRDF.FRAPISTORE@bnpparibas.com.
2. Enter your details, and tell us why you need access to the platform.
3. Developer Support will send you an activation link by email in 1-3 days.
4. Click the activation link.
5. You must use a business email (cannot use gmail, yahoo, or other public emails)
STEP 02 : NAVIGATE ON THE API STORE
1. Login to your account.
2. Search for the product that interests you through the search bar or by browsing.
3. Click on the Product card that interests you and discover the possibilities of the product.
4. To get more detailed informations, click on the button "Open Developer Portal" or "Contact Product Owner".
STEP 03 : CREATE AN APPLICATION ON DEVELOPER PORTAL
1. Login on Developer portal after clicking on 'OPEN DEVELOPER PORTAL' button on API Store.
2. In the top navigation bar, click My Teams and select your Team.
3. Click Add a new Team App or +.
4. In the App name field, enter a name for your application.
5. In the API product field, select the appropriate API, and click Submit.
STEP 04: OBTAIN YOUR API KEY
1. In the top navigation bar, click My Teams then select your Team.
2. Click on the app you created.
3. Get the API key and API secret.
STEP 05: TEST THE API IN SANDBOX VIA DEVELOPER PORTAL
1. Browse the API catalog to identify the BNPP Cardif service you want to use.
2. Read the description of the API to understand how it's protected.
3. Click on the Authorize button below the API description, in the popup window, select your App
4. Select the endpoint you want to test.
5. Click on the "Try it Out" button to test it.
6. Enter values in the headers, parameters in particular the mandatory ones with a "* required".
7. Click on the "Execute" Button.
STEP 06: TEST THE API PROGRAMMATICALLY with MTLS
1. Contact the API owner and provide all necessary information to access the API with your X.509 client certificate.
2. The configuration may be different following the software, for Postman, in the Hostname field, enter the Sandbox URL.
3. In the CRT file field, click Select File and add you CRT file.
4. In the KEY file field, click Select File add your KEY file.
5. Following how the API is protected, obtain the OAuth2 token and send it by adding the bearer token to the Authorization header of the request.
